It is our desire to use our gifts and talents to serve our community with our special brand of magic. Here are some recent ways our performers have volunteered their time to brighten the lives of our fellow Central Arkansans!
Arkansas Children’s Hospital Visits
Our princesses love to share magic with the patients at ACH. Before receiving their checkups, the children there get the opportunity to spend quality time chatting with our princesses! We believe every child deserves the chance to experience magic, especially those in need of it most.
Arkansas Dream Center Visit
Our Snow Queen and Ice Princess had a magical time visiting the children at the Arkansas Dream Center after-school program. To learn more about this organization, visit www.everyarkansan.org
Elementary School Visits
This sweet special needs class at Bryant Elementary got a surprise visit from Rapunzel, herself! The children got to read, sing, and play with her to their heart’s content!
Volunteer Birthday Parties
Encouragement For Princess Willow…
Willow was diagnosed Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in August of 2017. She was having a tough time with chemo treatments and all she wanted to do was to come back to her dance class. When she was finally able to, her dance instructor at Cabot Dance Academy contacted us about having a birthday and "welcome back to dance" party for her. Needless to say, our princesses were there in a heartbeat with smiles, hugs, and even a special princess quilt for Willow to take with her for her treatments at the hospital. It was a day that none of us will ever forget!
A Magical Day For Kate…
Princess Kate wanted her three favorite princesses to join her and her friends for her birthday celebration. Our performers immediately jumped on the chance to show up and fill her day with magical memories!
“Best party ever. My 22 yr old disabled girl’s party was amazing. It was a swim party but no one wanted to swim. Moms are still texting me that their girls can’t stop talking about the princesses. My friends have asked how to get ahold of them for friends. It was 30 min but the girls wouldn’t let them leave. They stayed in character the whole time. Amazing!!! It’s not only for small children, it’s for my girls that love them.”
Volunteer Video Messages
Encouraging Words In Times of Need…
For children that are going through especially tough times, like Lander, fighting cancer at age 4, our performers love to find ways to make them feel strong. Video messages are an easy and effective way to connect with kids anywhere at any time to help them feel supported.
